The A.Y.S.O mission is to: develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on the AYSO philosophies:
A.Y.S.O's goal is for kids to play soccer - so the National guidelines mandate that no player plays a full game until every player has played half a game. In region #922 - our rule is every player gets to play 3/4 of the game.
Each year we form new teams as evenly balanced as possible - because it is fair and more fun when teams of equal ability play.
Our program is open to any and all children between 4 and 18 years of age who want to register and play soccer. Interest and enthusiasm are the only criteria for playing.
Kids win when they are built up, not when they are torn down! We train and encourage our coaches to make the extra effort to understand and offer positive encouragement to our players, rather than negative criticism.
We strive to create a safe, fair, fun and positive environment based on mutual respect, rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude. Our programs are designed to instill good sportsmanship in every facet of AYSO.
A.Y.S.O focuses on developing each player to their personal best.
